What is the PPS P&C Association?
The Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) plays a key role in supporting Pymble Public School’s mission to create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students. Through collaboration with school staff and the wider community, the P&C enhances student experiences and builds a strong school community. We encourage all parents and caregivers to get involved, whether through volunteering, fundraising, or attending events.

The main functions of the P&C are:
The Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) at Pymble Public School works to:
Promote School Interests: Foster strong cooperation between parents, the community, students, and staff to support the school's mission and goals.
Fundraising: Raise funds to provide essential educational resources, equipment, and facilities not supplied by the NSW Department of Education.
Manage Key Services: Oversee the school’s Instrumental Programme, uniform shop (via Alinta Apparel), and second-hand uniform shop.
Support Student Experience: Collaborate closely with the Principal and teachers to supply a wide range of resources and facilities that enhance students’ learning and extracurricular activities, including experiences in the classroom, on the field, or stage.
Community Involvement: Encourage ongoing generosity from the community, both in time and funds, to ensure a strong, supportive school environment.
Fundraising Events: Organize various fundraising activities throughout the year to contribute to the school’s budget, ensuring every student has an engaging and fulfilling experience at Pymble Public.
Through these initiatives, the P&C helps create a thriving, well-supported learning environment for all students at Pymble Public.
P&C Meetings
The P&C holds regular meetings, both at the school and online via Zoom. Everyone is welcome to attend! During the meetings, we also hear from our various sub-committees and address queries and suggestions from attendees. It’s an opportunity for parents and community members to be involved in key decision-making processes, especially when deciding how funds are allocated to support the school.
